“Epigenetics of temperature and light responses in plants”

Organizers: Michal Lieberman-Lazarovich, Volcani Center (michall@volcani.agri.gov.il), Eirini Kaiserli, University of Glasgow (Eirini.Kaiserli@glasgow.ac.uk), and Sotirios Fragkostefanakis, Goethe University Frankfurt (fragkost@bio.uni-frankfurt.de)

The COST Action Epigenetic mechanisms of crop adaptation to climate change (EPI-CATCH) aims to develop and promote knowledge exchange of the epigenetic mechanisms regulating plant adaptation to environmental stresses due to climate change. Within the EPI-CATCH remit, we are organizing an international Workshop on the “Epigenetics of temperature and light responses in plants” at Volcani Center in Israel, on March 15th-16th 2023. The Workshop will bring together international authorities and early career researchers introducing key concepts, novel technologies and findings on how model plants and crop species adapt and respond to unfavorable ambient temperatures and light exposure at the epigenetic level.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is necessary

Venue: Gene-Bank auditorium, Institute of Plant Sciences, Volcani Center

Abstract submission deadline: February 28th, 2023

Registration deadline: March 5th, 2023
